The Art of…The Art of Being Human

One of the most important parts of writing, for me, is being able to visualize my characters and settings, and then turn that into words that will make others see what I do. but sometimes it’s hard to come up with those words when all I have is pictures in my head. That’s when pencil and paper come into play.

Whether it’s designing the full spectrum of mutations my character has or just playing around with some interesting physical characteristic, creating conceptual art for my book helps turn what I see in my head into what comes on the page in the final draft.
